What is Edgecliff Village?
Edgecliff Village is a small (~2,778 residents, Census 2020) Type-A general law municipality entirely surrounded by the City of Fort Worth on the south side. It was incorporated in 1951 and retains its own village government, police, and municipal court despite being a Fort Worth enclave. The village is named for its location on the high ground above the Clear Fork of the Trinity River.
