Pelican Bay is a small (~1,858 residents, Census 2020) city on the northwest shore of Eagle Mountain Lake in western Tarrant County, adjacent to Azle. It was incorporated in 1990 as one of the youngest cities in Tarrant. The city's footprint is dominated by lakefront residential streets, and many parcels are tied to Eagle Mountain Lake recreation.
