What is Reno (Tarrant), Texas?

Reno is a very small (~1,006 residents, Census 2020) city on the Tarrant–Parker county line near Azle in northwest Tarrant County. The city is technically incorporated in Parker County but is part of the Azle micropolitan area and is grouped with Tarrant County cities in many regional listings, including Tarrant County Desk's coverage area. It should not be confused with Reno in Lamar County (East Texas). Sources: U.S. Census Bureau; Texas State Historical Association; City of Reno.
